There are some top quality and world famous golf courses and resorts in the United States of America, with in excess of 10,000 public and private golf courses listed and to choose from. I'm not going to list a full golf course directory, but provide some flavor to the range of differing types and locations of golf courses in the beautiful sunny state of Florida; which has more than 1250 golf courses, which is more than any other state in the USA. The following golf courses are not listed as the best courses in Florida, although a number of the golf resorts are world famous, but because they have a certain ambience, price and features that make them stand-out among other Floridian golf courses and resorts, maybe because of location or the golf course design or the views or environmental factors. If on vacation near any of these locations then its worth checking out the courses. Even if not playing golf; the restaurants on the courses and resorts are worthy of a visit.
From time to time I'll add to the list, if you want to add some extra words or additional golf course reviews then please complete the golf course and resort contact form, this will ensure a FREE basic listing in this Golf directory.
